Happy Veteran's Day




 READING--

This week we are reading “Moonwalk” by Ben Bova.  We will focus on some vocabulary words in this story.  It would be helpful if you will reinforce the meaning of these words at home with your child.  Also, on this post you will find our spelling words for the week.  Please practice these words at home as well.  The words in italics are our challenge spelling words.  Let’s have a great week!

MATH--

We are working on Multiplication and properties. Please practice your multiplication facts EVERYDAY!  As we master the facts, we will be earning "Multiplication Sundaes." Ask your child about this! We are excited!!

MONDAY we are out of School for Veteran's Day!! Thank you to all past and present military for your service! A special note of appreciation to my grandfather: Virgil Price who served in WW2; my uncle: Terry Price who served in Korea; and my brother-in-law: Landon Cordell who is currently a BlackHawk pilot stationed at Ft. Campbell and has been overseas 3 times.
