Thanksgiving and other News...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! I am so very thankful for this class of kids! They are super children who are strong leaders. I am proud of their achievements and effort. I look forward to great things as the year progresses!

Don't Forget your Time Capsule Item!  School will resume on Monday, November 26th.

MATH:
We must continue to work on our Multiplication Facts. After Thanksgiving, we will connect division to this skill. It will only get more difficult and speed up as the year continues.

READING:

This week we are reading “Coyote School News” by Joan Sandin.  We will focus on some vocabulary words in this story.  It would be helpful if you will reinforce the meaning of these words at home with your child.  Also, on this post you will find our spelling words for the week.  Please practice these words at home as well.  The words in italics are our challenge spelling words.  Let’s have a great week!
