Flying Spelling

High Flyers....

A celebration of 100's!! If you make a 100 on your weekly spelling test, you get to "fly" your test across the back lawn. The paper airplane that travels the farthest gets bonus points on next week's test.
Keep studying 4th graders! I am proud of you!

October News

October Plans....

 Reading:
We will test on "The King in the Kitchen" on Wednesday, October 10. Our new story is "How Tia Lola Came to Stay."   Story Structure & Summarizing are still our skills. We will test on these skills on the 17th, along with "Tia."

Math:
We are finishing up with Time & Money. Adding and Subtracting four and five digit numbers will be our focus for the rest of the month.

History:
I am sure you have heard your child mention their Alabamian they are to research.  We plan on having a "Living Museum" in November. They will be learning about famous Alabamians, dressing like them, and presenting facts in a museum type format in the gym. We are super excited about this opportunity.
